Senior Business Analyst / Team Lead

SeavusBelarus07/2019 – 05/2020
Client assignment: Seavus (delivery organization) Whale Cloud (ZTE) (prime contractor) A1 Belarus (formerly Velcom) (end client)
  • It was a major BSS transformation program in a multi-vendor environment where Seavus, as a local IT integrator subcontracted by ZTE, helped Whale Cloud architects with customer-specific business rules, legacy knowledge, and local operational context.
  • Selected to lead the Seavus BA team (6 analysts) and support alignment with a broader vendor-side analyst organization of approximately 25 specialists, based on overall seniority in telecom transformation projects and prior hands-on knowledge of the customer’s BSS landscape, stakeholders, and working practices.
  • Established and formalized a structured requirements management approach covering collection, clarification, tracking, and documentation, and supported its practical adoption through Atlassian Jira and Atlassian Confluence to bring consistency and control to a complex cross-company analysis phase.
  • Direct formal scope covered Billing, Invoicing, Balancing, Payment Processing (B2B and B2C), Reporting, and domain-related integration requirements; as team lead, also maintained cross-domain awareness across the broader project to support coordination and issue resolution.
  • Led workshops and clarification sessions with business and technical stakeholders in both Russian and English, while modeling business processes, documenting functional requirements, preparing structured analysis inputs for HLD and parts of LLD, and performing fit/gap analysis in assigned domains.
  • Prepared management materials requested for senior governance and executive-level project communication.
  • Contributed throughout the active analysis phase of the program until project activities were paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

BSS Solution Architect

KcellKazakhstan09/2018 – 11/2018
Engagement model: External consulting assignment via RP International
Client assignment: Kcell Kazakhstan (end client)
  • Worked on preparation of a major BSS transformation RFP initiated by the operator due to challenges with a very old unsupported Orga Systems billing platform mainly used for B2C, and an unstable/problematic Amdocs solution mainly used for B2B.
  • Collected, analyzed, structured, and classified 1000+ raw requirements from business, IT, legal, finance, marketing, customer care, and other internal stakeholders, converting them into a consistent RFI/RFP-ready requirement set using TM Forum domain mapping principles where applicable, and completing the consolidation phase with only one week delay against an original 3-week target.
  • Derived from the completed requirement analysis, provided domain-based and public-market input to support the initial list of potential BSS vendors.
  • Introduced an Atlassian Jira- and Atlassian Confluence-based collaboration approach to replace inefficient email/Excel coordination under severe time constraints.
  • Proposed a structured vendor Q&A process using Atlassian Jira to improve traceability, reduce duplication, and streamline communication.
  • After all RFP-related contractual deliverables were completed, and as a contribution to possible future collaboration during the RFP and subsequent phases, suggested modeling the target landscape using TM Forum concepts, particularly SID for customer and product interconnection modeling; however, despite good working relationships with the customer’s BSS and IT teams, later procurement timing was affected by operator-side business changes.

  • In collaboration with the customer, covered front-end transformation scope across CRM (contact center, eShop, mobile app), Order Management (warehouse-related processes), Product Catalog, and related UX/UI business processes, producing process diagrams, requirement specifications, and workshop outputs for downstream solution design.
  • The onsite Qvantel team received positive feedback from customer SMEs; however, the Beeline Russia workstream was not continued due to broader program-level execution concerns at the main-contractor level, outside Qvantel’s area of influence.
